Delivery
Lover’s Lounge will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order.
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction. We will do all that we reasonably can to meet the date given for delivery or, if no date has been agreed, within 30 days of the order date. We cannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control. If we are unable to make the delivery date we will contact you. If delivery cannot be made within 30 days of the given delivery date you will be entitled to either arrange a revised date or cancel the order and receive a full refund. If we are able to make delivery in advance of the given date we will contact you.

All orders must be completed with full details of the customer's address, email address and a contact number is required for the delivery couriers. We will contact you in advance with the delivery date. If any products are out of stock we will notify you to see if you would like an alternative item or cancel your item.
Most deliveries will require a signature, the delivering couriers operate Monday to Friday 9 till 6pm, and it’s the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they are available, or made the necessary arrangements to receive the item on the stated delivery date. If a parcel is returned to us because the courier has been unable to obtain a signature, there may be an additional charge to have your parcel redelivered.
The Buyer must pay the stated shipping cost a second time if no one is home to accept delivery from the courier on the mutually agreed delivery date. There will be no exceptions to this Policy.
Important details on delivery and lead times
Delivery is made by pallet courier to ensure the safety of the product. Most delivery drivers are more than happy to remove pallets however they are not obliged to so please bare this in mind.
In the case of larger items we always try to recommend 2 people are present to receive delivery. Please note that although many of the drivers are very helpful, their contract is to get the items to your home, not inside it.
We release your purchase to the courier who will then call you to arrange a suitable delivery. A convenient delivery constitutes whereby the courier delivers to an adequate and accessible address where the necessary help is on hand to move the items.
It is important you check the goods on arrival wherever possible. Should you sign goods as being perfect and then subsequently find a fault on delivery, this can no longer be claimed back if they have been signed for. Significantly the cost to send out a courier to collect items is very high and should damaged items not be reported then the item falls within the 7-day e-commerce ruling for returns.
Lead Times:
Many out of stock and made for you items advertise a lead time of 8-10 weeks. It is important to understand the processes involved with these orders.
The lead-time is based on an average and there are things that can slow this down including the following:
Shipping - The shipping from our factory takes 4 weeks of the lead-time alone. We order in bulk quantities only and shipping is by sea container. Shipping can be affected by loading delays, weather conditions, port arrival, customs etc.
Production - Sometimes production can be slower than normal and may be because of the availability of raw materials, public holidays etc.
Date Of Order - We order once a month from each factory therefore the date at which you order makes a difference to the length of time an order may take.
We try our best to keep customers informed of the progress but please note it is not always possible. We advise periodic checks to review the status of your order.
