For all returns you must include your customer order details with the package, as we cannot process a refund without these. Should you not have your order details please ensure we have your full name and address.
Items returned must arrive in perfect condition, including the original packaging and please ensure that they are correctly packed and well protected.
Return shipping fees remain the customer’s responsibility. We would recommend that for larger items you request us to collect the unwanted goods on your behalf, for which we will charge a collection fee, usually charge payable in respect of your postcode.
Such collections need to be paid for in advance and can either be offset against your refund or paid for as a completely separate transaction.
Refunds are not paid until after satisfactory receipt of the goods by furniture-for-home, our default position would be to offset the delivery charge against your refund.
The present right of return only applies to products that are returned in their original, complete working condition (packaging, accessories, instructions, etc). Any product that has been damaged, is not in its original packaging or the packaging has been worn beyond simply opening the product, will not be refunded.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund on any item if the above conditions have not been met. Before ordering from us, it is your responsibility to check and determine your full ability to receive the products. This includes ensuring that the product ordered will pass freely into your room of choice, and that they fit in that room, can be transported through the front door of your flat or room, stairs and doorways, and any other issues that could make the delivery more complicated or impossible to process. Up-to-date mobile telephone number and e-mail address are absolutely necessary to ensure successful delivery of your item.
All information asked on the checkout page must be filled in precisely and accurately. We will not be responsible for missed delivery because of wrong delivery address or an inappropriate phone number. All additional charges or costs due to delivery complications or missed delivery would be added to your order invoice.
What if my product arrives damaged or gets lost?
All goods should be inspected on receipt and the delivery paperwork only signed for once the goods have been checked, please check all parts of your order.
If you are unable to check your order on delivery please sign for your order as UNCHECKED.
If your order arrives damaged please REFUSE delivery and advice in writing to the carriers and to ourselves within 3 days. When contacting us by email, please include your order number, full name, address, phone number & damage caused.
Damaged goods must be retained for inspection at furniture-for-home discretion.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to forward photographic evidence of the damage by email or post and if the claim is accepted by furniture-for-home we will arrange collection and replacement of the damaged item.
Non received deliveries must be reported in writing to the carriers and ourselves within 3 days of date of the advice note.
Furniture-for-home reserves the right to levy a handling charge where goods are returned for credit or replacement.
All products carry a first year manufacture’s guarantee however; this does not cover accidental damage or misuse of the item.
