Established in 2003 from over twenty years of personal experience in architectural interiors and the hotel & leisure sector, Kate Mooney and her award winning team at occa-design have developed a reputation for expertise, style and attention to detail. They are constantly working on fabulous hotel projects throughout the UK, Europe and more recently in the UAE.
Kate could see that friends and colleagues were full of enthusiasm for new products and ideas from all the glossy design magazines, but saw them quickly become disappointed and frustrated when they couldn't source the products or when they didn't know how to start to pull a room together.
Subsequently, Kate decided to open up her studio and share her passion and enjoyment for interior design with everyone. Occa-home was born. She committed to making many of the products and materials that were often only available to the hotel market, easily accessible and has complemented these with an extensive hand picked selection of stunning home wares and interior design products.
