Ulrika Jarl

Ulrika Jarl lighting & homewares was launched in 2004. Her lighting products are made mainly from bone china clay and slip, she also uses various plastics creating similar translucent qualities.

She also takes commissions for larger work and one-off bespoke pieces or installations.

Jarl explores her love of natural forms and structures throughout her work as a designer/maker. Influences come from patterns and structures of nature, rhythm and repetition of related shapes. Nature's forms often appear uncomplicated, but contain highly complex elements. Her detailed work captures this functional beauty, revealing patterns of balance and harmony.
