It’s official, we’re rejecting our love of all things minimalist and embracing all things folk, craft and comforting.

Want proof? Well, here you go: Quilting has become so popular that the V&A are holding classes, a colleague of mine has just started a upholstery night class and everyone I follow on Twitter always seems to be making something from cushions to jewellery.

And while I’m not suggesting we all go and live in wooden painted caravans and clutter our homes with random bits of tatt, I do think this is a trend which could work in most of our homes.
