Hi there
My living room is currently pastel greys i’d like to inject a little colour without having to change the sofas etc. I was looking at duck eggs and pale pinks but i’ve gone of this idea and was wanting something more prominant. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I would go bold and choose a shocking pink or navy both which look fabulous with pale greys. Yellow will work well too although be careful to use it in small doses.

Here are some colour recommendations:

The Little Greene Paint Company – Sunlight

Fired Earth – Carbon Blue

Farrow & Ball – Drawing Room Blue

Alternatively, go for wallpaper to add colour and pattern, Miss Print’s Saplings in Sunflower Yellow would look great.

I agree with Alexandra ‘sunlight’ by The Little Green Paint Company would look great as an accent wall. If you would rather go for an accent wall in wallpaper instead of paint they do an Oriental range of wallpapers, shojo comes in ‘sunlight’

Alternatively go for a shocking pink like Alexandra suggested. Crown do a paint called exactly that ‘Shocking Pink’ or ‘cheeky wink’ is another gorgeous bright pink in thier range that will complement grey. You could also bring in a few small accesories in both black & shocking pink, against the grey this will look modern & classy.

Go for the sky blue colour. It looks fascinating.
