After years of painting all the rooms in my house beige I’d like to go for something a little bolder. What are your suggestions to ease me into the world of colour? |

Congratulations on the decision to scrap the beige! I suggest you steer clear of bright and bold colours until you get a bit more confident and start off by incorporating some of the so-called new neutrals such as greys, taupes and off-whites. These can help create a stunning scheme but are also extremely useable. They also offer the perfect opportunity of add some pattern through fabric and wallpaper into your scheme. |
