Black paint

I want to paint one of the walls in my living room in an almost black shade. Where can I find my perfect paint?

A jet black will look fairly harsh so I think you’re right in wanting to use an “off” black. Farrow & Ball paints have several shades that might fit the bill.

Their Black Blue (as the name suggests) has an almost navy look to it and their Off Black feels slightly more like a charcoal. Their paint is really nice to work with as well albeit slightly more expensive than other brands.
