Black Venetian Blinds

I’m thinking of getting wood venetian blinds in black but am worried that they will make the room look dark in the daytime.

Does anybody have black venetian blinds? Can you tell me what you think of them?

Black might make the room feel a little stark even if you have the slats open during the day.

Why not opt for a warmer dark wood tone instead of black which won’t be so dark.
