My sister is heavily pregnant and needs to move into her new flat in a couple of weeks but it needs decorating. There is currently some paintable woodchip and can’t be removed as the wall is fragile and would need re-plastering, money for which we don’t have.
Is there anyway we can decorate the wall without wallpaper, paint or having to replaster? Just to cover the horrible woodchip would be something! ANY IDEAS WHATSOVER WELCOME thanks!
p.s. the wall we want to cover is approx. 13ft x 9ft.

You could try to cover the walls with some posters, or if you have time make collages out of photos, postcards, old magazines etc. It can look really cool but is time consuming. You could stick it with a tape straight to the wall or glue it to a separate piece of paper and then attach it to the wall (maybe hang it somehow if the wall is fragile). Another option would be to staple some material to the wall.
I just found this online, there are some technical tips:

Hope it will be helpful.
Good luck.

Hi!

Don’t normally like to just plug, but your post was just screaming at me!

OurGreenRoom do large modern wall art pieces from only £79 including UK delivery to your door. The largest size we do is a 3 set of 100 × 50cm panels – which practically covers a wall.

Our products are specifically aimed at plain walls, since the designs we use are so bright and colourful and the prints are quite large. The photo I have attached is the one I have in my living room, against a plain white wall – it really does look fabulous and everyone who visits comments on how great it looks.

I also just came across some nice digital wall art form an online shop in Finland and featured it in our Blogg. This might also be a good alternative for you. I have often used wall art stickers. One in particular my daughter has taken around 3 houses (and it is still just about in tact!)

Might be worth just taking a look. If you need any help with OurGreenRoom products or have a question, give me a shout.

Lois x

If you get some large canvases and style them with a clock of colour of friends handprints/signatures etc – they can look really effective. Or you could get tescos to print your favourite photos on to huge canvases to take up the space and make a big impact on the walls.
