We’re in the process of decorating our bathroom as I want to create a real statement with the tiles. Any ideas? |

I used tiles in my bathroom to add pattern and interest. I started by tiling the bathroom in square, plain white tiles but left the shower area and splashback behind the basin bare and used small black and white mosaic tiles to create a chequer-board effect. It looks really impressive. |

The world is your oyster and you can do loads and loads with tiles. They’re really expensive but there’s nothing stopping you using Bisazza as inspiration for a mosaic design. Or try using patterned tiles with plain ones (have a look at Fired Earth for an amazing selection) Another idea is to have white tiles everywhere and then use another colour for the shower and splashback areas. Let us know how you get on. |

Large Porcelian tiles look stunning in a cream/ivory marble affect especially if you use a glass mosiac boarder. Use the Mosiacs also to make a feature of the shower area. Another idea is to part tile & part wall panel. Bushboards have a new range of bathroom wall panels that take inspiration from flocked wallpaper printed onto durable laminate. You can chose from stone, duck egg, blue, deep red, black or blush. Rocco blush would work well as a feature maybe in the shower area teamed with some large block grey porcelian tiles on the other walls. Have a look at thier website www.bushboard.co.uk |

Have you thought about using feature tiles combined with plain ones. H&R Johnson have a really cool range. |

Go for the vinyl flooring with granite tiles. It will look fascinating. |

You should have a look at Reclaimed Floor Tiles, a really beautiful statement and a more unusual choice. The website www.charleshowey.co.uksells a beautiful range of Reclaimed brick (links) and Terracotta tiles |
