I’ve just moved into a house with a massive hallway and it’s fairly bland and neutral at the moment. I haven’t got a clue what to do with it in terms of decorating. Any ideas? |

You’re really lucky to have such a large entrance space when most people have dark and dingy halls. You can also use darker colours than most, so you could create a really opulent scheme using rich colours and possibly even a patterned wallpaper. To add a touch of glamour, why not add a huge vintage style chandelier? |

Why don’t you add some of those really gorgeous geometric tiles you see in Victorian properties? I’ve seen that Original Style make really faithful reproductions and it will add colour, pattern and interest to brighten up your dull hallway. |

I’d love a large hallway – you can do lots with it. I think it would be a great idea to turn it into another room by adding furniture such as a sofa or a really cool armchair. That way you can have somewhere to sit and relax before reaching the living room! And you’ll be able to fit in a good sized console table which will be really handy. |

Well we’re almost in summer now but you might get some ideas from this round-up of spring trends. There are some case studies over there too, probably a summer update on the way soon |
