I am in the process of having my loft converted into a master bedroom and have a wow factor of wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling window – see photo. The 2 windows in the middle are tilt-and-turn windows that tilt/turn inwards. I had a couple of blind suppliers come round and the only solutions they have come up with are conservatory roof blinds (Perfect Fit, Luxaflex) – i.e. with guide wires running along the triangle and trapezoid window panes. I really want an unobscured view out of the window. Are there any other solutions out there? I could go with a curtain but I don’t want to cover the window when not in use. All ideas welcome!

Why don’t you try window film? I’m assuming that is being a loft room you won’t be overlooked so this could be the perfect solution. Brume www.brume.co.uk has a wide range of designs to choose from.

Have you found a solution yet. I must say I am very jealous of you waking up to that every morning! Completely understand why you wouldn’t want to block it out.

I think I have a solution but I am working on the finer details. If it works out I’ll post up the solution.

the Window Film Centre have done a similar job for me as we have floor to ceiling windows in our bedroom, they were very quick and professional. They have a solar control window film which gives privacy whilst allowing you to see out, and controls glare and fading to interiors.http://www.windowfilmcentre.co.uk/index.php/films/resridentialfilm
