Bronze Water Vessel
Quite captivating, this Bronze Water Vessel is a reproduction of items that were once used as ritual ceremonies from China.
It was used about 3,000 years ago and filled with either wine or food to serve as offering to ancestors. They would often be inscribed in beautiful ancient characters.
Our version of the piece has been made to match the look and feel of the original items. They've been aged with a beautiful blue and green colour, much like you would see in genuine antique pieces. They're also inlaid with stunning silver to ensure that the characters and decorative patterns show through.
This particular vessel design is called a 'hu'. They often featured a pear shaped body including two handles which made it convenient to carry.
Note: Inlay as well as decorative patterns on the vessel might vary slightly between each piece.
