Carved Temple Cabinet
Found during the 1800s, this amazing cabinet was originally from a temple in the Shanxi province. The item is almost 200 hundred years old and still brilliantly displays the gorgeous red and black lacquer finish it once had.
Look closely and you'll be able to trace the gorgeous carvings surrounding the frame, outer panels and drawers of the cabinet. These carvings often depict gorgeous flowers. At the bottom part, the two front feet are also delicately carved.
There are two centre doors on the cabinet including rounded frames with a fixed panel on each side. The cabinet is approximately 5 feet wide by 5 feet tall. It would require a large interior space but no doubt, it will make a grand statement once it finds the right home.
