Mongolian Painted Two Door Cabinet
Originally made in Mongolia in the 1920s, this simple two door cabinet was designed to go on top of a much larger armoire to provide more storage space for clothing or bedding.
This is lacquered and painted in reds, creams and greens which are a typical colour of a Mongolian furniture. You can still can see the original paintings of flower vases and other artefacts in the central panels, The old brass hardware on the doors is still intact.
