Product description

Simple is always beautiful. The Chinese Country Blanket Trunk is supported by subtle horse hoof shaped feet. The design is taken from common Chinese furniture trunks back in the day.

Trunks such as these were often used for linen and beddings. They were also used for storing clothes or other personal items. Instead of adding a metal hinge, we've opted to add a traditional half board lid. The front portion lifts up completely to make the contents accessible.

Our trunks are made from reclaimed elm wood, giving it that wonderful rustic look. You can ask for different finishes if you like. These can also be made in a different size, depending on your needs.
