Ming Wardrobe, Warm Elm

The Ming Wardrobe might be simple but it provides ample space to store a variety of clothes and other items you wish. This design echoes the design often seen during the Ming Dynasty. Unlike the Western world, the Chinese during this time did not hang clothes vertically instead they contained shelves and drawers.

However, our version of the wardrobe has been updated to include a wooden rail and three removable shelves for comfort. It can be used for hanging a variety of clothes and can also be used inside the kitchen as a cupboard. It's a useful and versatile piece worth having inside your home.

Because of its huge size, these are often made in two pieces and need to be self assembled unless requested otherwise.

Part of our Classical Chinese furniture range, it is made from beautiful reclaimed elm wood and comes with brass fittings. Choose from two major shades: warm elm or black lacquer finish. Customised finish is also possible and can be made to order.
