Turn the clocks forward in style this weekend with this St Michel Clock Table in Red from Made.com. £89

So, it’s official, spring as sprung and come the weekend you’ll get an hour less in bed.

For some people waking up on Sunday morning, this is tantamount to someone killing their kitten.

Not for me though, as it means lighter evenings and no more leaving work in the dark for at least six months. To celebrate, I’ve decided to treat myself to a new clock but it’s not one that’s going on the wall.

Oh no this St Michel Table Clock is the most innovative timepiece I’ve seen for quite some time.

The perfect occasional table, it will make sure you’re never late for cocktail hour again.

Battersea Power Station Limited Edition Screenprint in Grey, £95, Caroline McGrath

Jazz up your walls with this Battersea Power Station Limited Edition Screenprint in Grey from Caroline McGrath. £95

I’ve written before about how important Battersea Power Station is to me. My Grandad worked there and my grandparents lived a stone’s throw away from this iconic London landmark, so it was very much part of my childhood.

With its future in doubt again (no one has known what to do with it since it ceased to be a working power station) it seems fitting I have stumbled across this striking screenprint from Caroline McGrath.

Also available in red, green and blue, I prefer this grey and black combo which will looking striking on white wall.
